For the past 12-18 months we've had some rumors of games/things coming to PS4 and they all came true. This E3 we had:
FFVII Remake check
Shenmue 3 check
TLG reannounced check
COD marketing check
SW marketing check
DLNA support check
Horizon (including details) check
Rigs check
And before that we had:
SFV check
PS1/PS2 BC with upres and trophies TBD
Crash Bandicoot TBD
There might be more that I'm forgetting, but those are the main two that stick out to me. There are only 2 possible reasons on why they weren't revealed, IMO, are:
1) They are not happening. Rumors/sources were incorrect
2) They are not ready, Sony is working on PS1/PS2 BC and has acquired the Crash franchise, but neither is ready to be announced, reasons could be that they are still working on getting as many games as possible on the BC, MS caught them offguard and they might want to have PS3 ready or whatever the case may be. Regarding Crash, they might want to wait until being closer to release and give Ratchet the timeline for now. I don't think they want another TLG situation and are trying to announce games 12-18 months before release at the most.
I'm hoping it's number 2, but with all the megatons announced today, I'm not sure why Sony wouldn't announce it if there really was any weight to these rumors
