Halo 3 will launch in NA on 25th and in Europe on 26th.

This is very interesting, especially as the rumours are that that is when Sony were planing to release all their games, maybe we'll see a head on fight between Halo and Killzone 2/Lair/Heavenely Sword/Warhawk/Uncharted (/MGS 4/ FF XIIIs?)

(for me) hopefully this means that Sony will make sure that all their games are ready for that September launch, and all these games will go up against each other
