lol i give you an A for effort my friend but you weren't subtle enough imo

from what i can personally remember the number of games released by sony up until this year was more than that of microsoft

and for this year sony has released more games and has more games coming out throughout the year

finally ratings have generally favoured sony... so how do we therefore get to a point where the claim is made that sony is lagging behind?

Sadly I agree. The lineup from sony has been the worst so far this gen.
So far the PS4 has not been worth it's money, so they better start putting out some good exclusive games soon! I don't want to regret my early PS4 purchase. :/

May I ask when you actually bought your PS4? In a post about a month ago you said you were going to buy a ps4 until Persona 5 launch. Not before.

 

I'm not asking you to lie or pretend. I just feel you are more biased than you realize. If you include 3rd parties, the PS4 had more than enough games to keep even the hardcore gamers happy this year. I'm personally constrained on budget... Not content. 

But the PS4 is the best place to play third party games, if you don't have a PC (which I have) so I'm not saying that the ps4 is bad or the content overall is not good, I'm talking about my personal experience with the ps4. And yes I'm biased towards Nintendo, that means that I enjoy Nintendo games a lot, that doesn't mean that I can't like exclusive content on the PS4, or that I talk crap about sony because I like Nintendo, or that if I say something that is not to favor the ps4 is because I like Nintendo. And well to answer your question I bought a ps4 because I wanted to play bloodborne and infamous and I had the money to buy a ps4.

I don't see the problem. They are still leading anyway with an exponential growth so 1 slightly disappointing year shouldn't be made into such a big deal.

Don't be sorry. It's not like the people you're talking too don't wear their colours...they're attacking you because you don't agree with them.

I too hate the whole notion that if you like one company your opinion on the others is crap. For those of us who game on multiple platforms we can still have our preferences. Doesn't mean we can't appreciate or criticise other publishers if we feel we need too. Hell it makes us more likely to consider more options and have an informed opinion.

1 slightly bad year at the starting of a gen can totally shift the balance in the other company's direction
