Forums - Sony - Sony just might recover from their bad patch this year

Last year and especially this year,Sony has been lagging behind on announcement and exclusives for this generation after a racing start to the generation.Guess, the amazing start made them lazy.

I actually think, they have done so bad that Microsoft still have a chance to come from behind and beat them. After their amazing start,Sony could have totally packed and finished off this generation but their performance in 2014 and 2015 has been awful.

But when i think about it,they just might still be very strong and comeback and finish the game off this generation. When i was predicting E3 announcements this year,i realized they have alot of suprises and content to come out.

I think alot of the following announcements will be made at this year's E3.These are just for this year, they will have alot more in the next couple of years, much more to come. These are not even too far fetched predictions, quite possible and easy for Sony to make.

Gran Turismo 7 2016 release
Uncharted 4 FY 2015-16 aka in or before March 2016
Battlfront Gameplay and Bundle
Call of Duty Gameplay and Bundle
Destiny Expansion
Last Guardian release date announcement
Guerrilla Games 2016 release
God of War 4 announcement
Sucker Punch announcement
Media Molecule announcement
Agent release 2016 release
Final fanatasy 15 release date FY 2015-2016 aka in or before March 2016
Kingdom hearts Gameplay
Metal Gear Solid Phanton Pain bundle
PS4 pricecut
VITA pricecut
Project Morpheus price and release date FY 2016 aka in or before March 2016

So do you think Sony can cover up their dissapointing year?

Is this a joke thread? I mean, seriously?

If Sony was awful, Microsoft was awful too. Halo needs to stop being given more weight than it's due. It's yet another fps... Just like Titanfall.

I know. Sometimes when I come on sites like this I'm not sure if I've stepped into an alternative reality where facts are reverse automatically. Why don't we see the same articles and forum threads about the XB1?

The PS5 Exists.

Titanfall was excellent but hardly comparable to the juggernaut that is Halo.

In sales, anyway.

Yes and No.

Sony is obviously fine up until this point but the holiday is looking bare. Any momentum they hand over to Microsoft during the holiday won't suddenly be undone come 2016 and Vise Versa. Xbox will never be able to make up for its launch just as PS3 couldn't. But in short yes, PS4 will sell brilliantly this fall even if it looses in America and will easily regain its lead in 2016 with its line up.

maybe he's talking about the lack of "must have" content, excluding Bloodborne of course

I see stacks of 'must have' games for the PS4. The list is so huge it burries the XB1. This whole narrative is verging on insanity.

2015 isn't even over, so I don't understand the need for this thread.

There are still a lot of games coming out for PS4 and for all we know they could all be GOTY contenders, because, guess what, we haven't played them yet.

This thread is so stupid, it hurts my eyes.

Sorry but I don't see those games, I see that those games are closer than ever. But right now I see a lot of third party games on both consoles and PC and a less than 5 must have exclusives, on both consoles.
