Here's the premise:

You can own every system you are familiar with and own 3 games for each on EVER!

My picks:

NES: The Magic of scheherazade, The Guardian Legend, and River City Ransom. Special mention-Adventures of Link, Xexyz, Megamall 2, Double Dragon 2 and SMB3.

Sega Genesis:Mortal Kombat 2, Streets of Rage, and Phantasy Star In. Special mention- Sonic 2, Double Dragon, Golden Axe, Shining Force 2.

SNES: Super Metroid, A Link to the Past, and Chronological Trigger. Special mention- FF VI, Megaman X, Super Mario World.

Sega Saturn: Magic Knights Raye arthritis, Albert Odyssey, and Panzer Dragoon. Special Mention - Rayman.

PS1: Metal Gear Solid, FF Visit (I'm that guy lol), and Castlevania SOTN. Special mention - FF VII and IX, Allundra, Siphon Filter series, Chrono Cross, Brave Fencer Musashi, etc, etc,etc.

N64: Majora's Mask, Perfect Dark, and Golden Eye. Special mention- Super Mario 64 and I guess OOT.

Sega Dreamcast: Crazy Taxi, SF 3 third strike, Shenmue. Special Mention - Virtua Striker 2, Skies of Arcadia, Guilty Gear X, Sonic, etc, etc. On a side note I would've rather seen the GameCube and original Xbox disappear than this amazing system. The Saturn marketing fiasco sadly killed Sega.

GameCube: Viewtiful Joe, Resident Evil remake, and Super Smash Brothers Melee. Special mention - Twilight Princess, Mario Kart and Metroid Prime.

Xbox: Halo CE, Advent Rising, and KOTOR. (Most of the good stuff can be found on Pc so no special mention here).

PS2: FFX (even with the horrendous laugh scene), ZOE2, Gran Turismo 4, MGS3. Special mention - so many great ones: digital devil saga, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, GTA San Andreas, Grandma 2,3 and Extreme, God Hand, etc, etc.

Wii: Xenoblade, Metroid Prime trilogy pack, The Last Story. Special mention -NSMB Wii, Red Steel 2, Mario Kart.

Xbox 360: Gears of War, Halo 3, Lost Odyssey (thnx vgchartz community for suggesting this gem). Special mention- Magna Carta 2

PS3: The Last of Us, Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2. Special mention - MGS4, LBP,  The Puppeteer, etc,etc.

On your side note would rather see ps2 gone instead of Dreamcast! Keep GameCube and Xbox, i had more games on my those three than ps2 that system was just a 3rd party machine.And it was more blind ps2 hype that killed the Dreamcast than saturn ,I remember everyone thinking that the ps2 was going to look 10 times better and it wasn't!

PS 2 had amazing and plenty exclusives along with the third party. Forgot about God of War, Ratchet and Clank or Jak and Daxter series? Or how about the many Atlus rpgs for the niche? AR Tonelico games, Yakuza series, Dark Cloud 1 and 2, etc. Original Xbox is what got me into Halo but most other titles were on Pc so it was easily replaceable with Dreamcast. GameCube had some gems to be fair, but no PS2 would have meant a near vg crash. Nice attempt at stealth trolling though. In all fairness I will take a GameCube over a Wii any day, but ninty could have pushed more with that system. And I hated Mario Sunshine.

Haven't played Skyward Sword yet so I'm curious. I also haven't mentioned current Gen systems since it's too early. For PS4 for now it's Second Son, Bloodborne, and Helldivers.
