One of the most overrated bands in the world.

Your lack of "For Whom the Bell Tolls" is extremely disappointing. No love for "Master of Puppets" either? Were you not into them in their "three word album" name days?

And for the love of Ghaude, "Battery" is so damn head-bangable that I almost lose my neck every time I hear the song.

no mention of sanitarium?....or call of ktulu?...really?

Well I'm going to see them at Rock Am Ring in June for the second time! They will show off some new songs from the album I'll post a 'what do you think' topic if you want too;)
The first time I saw them was last year they were touring promoting the 20th anniversity of the master of puppets album:) So they played the whole album live! That was really cool:)
Not my fav band though but I still very sweet!

Its f***n' pathetic refering to "songs" . These glorious days of mid 80s-early 90s, a fan would punch you in the face. You OUGHT to own every vinyl,to know every lyric, and every god damn riff and solo back then. But now is just a f****n iTune in a bloody iPod, hah?

Anyway, they are dead since 1992, and a roaming circus that is named Μetallica , too, gives some excellent shows that remind us of this once glorious group. And their mind is BROKEN. Lars Ulrich is the most pathetic piece of s**t in the history of Heavy Metal. Mustaine should kick his ass in "Some Kind of Monster"

That's not Heavy Metal, thats not Music. Is a freakin'  horror show.

Former Metal Militia Member. (its a song actually... :P)

Nope. And for good reason. It certainly was NOT a mistake. But, I was trying not to take up ten years worth of reading so I shorted the list to my top three songs from their early to mid eighties days.

Call of Ktulu? Ha! That song is so boring it belongs on ReLoad! And what?

That group is still going. Metallica's earlier works were great but the modern stuff sucks.

One of the best bands in history, newer stuff may be weaker, but it is still awesome, I personally love every metallica album. And of course their best song is Master
