Big huge companies dont think like that. Phil wore a Battletoads shirt because he likes battletoads. They were in shovel knight because Yacht Club games asked for them. The only real evidence of a battletoads game being made is the name registration in Europe, but time and time again shows trademark registrations are unreliable.

Yes I wanted to cover my basis with this one, since I have no clue what indie developers are up to. What I know for sure is that Rare isn't making it, nor some other first party studio is announcing it at E3.

They're still a possibility that it's being made by 3rd party then

Yes I said that directly in the leak :) There will definitly be gamers that LOVE what Rare shows. But the Rare of today is a different studio with different developers. They have their own preferences, opinions, desires, beliefs, goals, etc. Think of it more like current Rare has upgraded to bigger and better games. Dont think of it as current Rare has transformed into old Rare.

Was kinda hoping for something better. It's definitely unexpected but Xbox does not need another shooter.Maybe they want to have some exclusive shooter for autumn 2016.

I was hoping for something that was always available for Xbox/PC like Left 4 Dead 3 even thought I never played the series before.

MS should just buy Crytek just getting Cryengine it self would be big because Ryse is still one the best looking Next-generation games on all platforms and it was a launch title.

Idk if Crysis as an Exclusive is a Big deal it's not that big of a seller and the games have been getting worse over time, at least we know that it will look very pretty, honestly I'm more excited for Homefront: The Revolution.
