Congrats! And such a great deal. Where did you buy it from??

I actually just got it from Wal Mart.  Good deal, but I've really only played TitanFall on it so far.  I did play a few rounds of Halo 4 online, but it just reminded me how little I like halo.

Titanfall is amazing. Install all the free DLC. There are always 4k+ people online, you'll never have trouble finding a game.

I've been getting back into it lately  after an Evolve break.

Yeah, I always have the same problem. I usually play single player games when I have time off. But the rest of the year, I only play multiplayer games .

Yeah, playing Halo CE and Halo 2 onlinr aren't that fun IMO or maybe I just suck at them. lol But the Halo 2 anniversary maps are lots of fun.

I'm hopeing to get back to how I used to be in the 360 glory days where I always had a Online competitive game to play and then as games released take a day or 2 bvreak to play them and then split time between both untill they were completed. I found gaming was generally more enjoyable when your waiting and getting hyped for releases instead of having 30 games on your backlog and in your mind you gotta play them all. :P

Yeah, the days of not having a backlog were so good. I noticed my backlog started becoming bigger after I got a credit card and joined VGC :P

ReCore hype

Nice article on ReCore I really love games with big orchestral soundtracks, Also Submerged looks interesting.

Mass Effect this time. Forza looks great but i prefer story-driven games.

Mass Effect

Mass Effect for me as well.

So when Phil says that MS will make games that will appeal to EU what exactly does that mean? Because while some genres like racing sell better in EU, I don't think that there is a drastic difference when it comes what type of games EU and NA like.

One thing that could help in that region though could be buying and Rebooting the Stalker IP that game was pretty popular.

I think he means games like ReCore or Scalebound. Less shooting, more adventure elements.

My main problem with Halo 1, Halo 2 Classic, and Halo 3 MP is that they don't have hitscan. Bullets take time to travel to targets, which means that you need to lead targets at a distance with the BR. Some people like that, but pretty much every other shooter I've played since Halo 3 released has had hitscan, so a shooter without hitscan just feels outdated to me now.

Fortunately Halo 4, Halo 2 Anniversary, and Halo 5 all have hitscan.

I agree, it's a big reason why I stick to Halo 4. Although sometimes hitscan can be annoying like when you die :P
