The Nano sure is sexy
Sexy little card, with only 1x8-pin that means 150W from there plus another 75W from the PCI-E, 225W max in total. Given that it's rated for 175W, it should have some room rom OC'ing.
Also, I can't speak german, but I think tomorrow I'll go to www.computerbase.de :
So @ComputerBase got something really special for the R9 Fury X launch! @amd_deutschland @amd_roy @AMDRadeon pic.twitter.com/02A72CXLDJ

It is already starting.

$829.99 Canadian dollars.
Also, for those who already have a watercooling setup, EK is working on full waterblocks for Fury X.

With that and a Dremel, this could be the first single slot top of the range GPU in a long time.

While we wait, here's a Q&A short session with AMD's Richard Huddy.
A few things to note:
1-His excuses for going with DisplayPort1.2 and not HDMI 2.0 were time (?) and because most users will use DisplayPort to connect it with monitors, because with DP you can daisy-chain multiple monitors and because DP allows to use Freesync.
2-If anyone cares, Fury X supports 4-Way Crossfire.
3-With this sentence: "the fury x is the name that we've attached to that set up". He seems to imply that Fury and FuryX are the same, with the only difference being the cooling solution.
3-Maybe I'm reading too far, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility of seeing a refresh of the Fury lineup between now and the launch of the next new cards with HDMI 2.0 and more VRAM.

After reading leaked specs, if confirmed, I suspect this is an interim series and true novelties, or better, the first implementations effectively using all the novelties, will come next year together with die shrink.
For today I'm definitely more excited for the new Alfa Romeo Giulia launch.
Well, it turns out that the Fury X is not so furious...
A very big improvement over the 290X/390X but overall the 980Ti is still better at 1080p and 1440p. At 4K it's like a piss content because no single card can handle any game at their higher settings yet.
Mummelmann, now you can get your card with confidence.

Decent power consumption and temperatures. I guess it could pull more decisively of the 980 Ti/Titan X in the upcoming months/years since AMD takes longer to optmize their drivers/architectures, although the overclocking potential remains to be seen.
Even though the Fury X was a bust, I'm impressed how AMD finally managed to catch up with Nvidia when it comes to tessellation perfomance per resource wise.
When you consider how GM200 has 6 rasterizers/set-ups in comparison to Fiji's 4 rasterizers/set-up, Fiji is just as efficient as GM200 in primitive throughput ...
