It will be available in Europe exclusively through the Nintendo eShop as a digital download, but it will also release at retail in North America.
Maiden Heaven begins with a young innkeeper named Luchs, whose peaceful inn-keeping days became numbered once he discovered a bracelet known as 'Lachryma'.
Suddenly accosted by strange fiends, Luchs is saved by a mysterious faerie encased in crystal whose memories are spotty.
The game includes a strategic battle system that encourages players to aim their attacks just right in order to 'bowl' over as many enemies as possible with a single strike.
Players can also turn the tide of battle by crafting new skills with unique items obtainable through the 3DS' StreetPass feature and participation in Free Battles.
