Last MK scored 86 with 66 reviews on X360.  84 on PS3 with 60

Seems like it's scoring in line with previous entries, then. Of course, it could sway either way though since a ton of reviews still have to come in, but hopefully it goes up rather than down.

Thanks! Looks to be a very consistent series (outside of re-releases).

Looking good so far. It's being received along the lines of the previous MK. From NXGamer's analysis, both the PS4 and XBO versions maintain a good 60fps throughout gameplay. Any framerate drops happen outside of gameplay, which isn't a big deal.

Soo excited for this.

Reviews shouldn't dock so many points for story in a fighting game, especially when the only problem is that it wasn't deep. This isn't The Last of Us. It's grindhouse, the video game. It purposefully misspells words that usually start with a C with a K, just because. Its story is supplementary content to the main game. When the worst you can say about the actual fighting is that "the fighter variations aren’t as interesting as I’d hoped," there's no reason that game deserves a 7.5.

There will always be reviews that are too nitpicky for the sake of docking points.

surprise surprise Digital Trends scored it higher than Bloodborne. Shocking really.

Good reviews so far, about what I expected.
