Good list. I'm excited to see what they will show at E3 and throughout the rest of the year since they still have quite a few unannounced games from their first party studios.

really great list but sony should open studios in germany and china too

This. Some more studios in Japan would be nice, as well.

That's a huge list

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

That is not necessary, Japan Studio is constantly working with a large variety of Japanese developers. Freedom Wars was created with Dimps and Shift, Bloodborne with From Software and Oreshika was created by Alfa System.

Santa Monica Studios is just 1 team I bet, especially after what happened with Stig's team. Looks like they're expanding until they have enough talent to form 2 teams, probably after GoW4 releases next year.

I'm pretty sure it was announced that Sony are outsourcing God of War III: Remastered to another studio so there's no team at SSM working on that.

I know they fired some people after that game was cancelled but that makes sense, you don't need 20 animators when development of a new game is starting. I have not heard any confirmation that it should be a one team studio now.

Normally you give rematering jobs to external studios but Sony Santa Monica was the only team mentioned in association with GOW 3 Remastered and no one else has taken credit for it.

Really nice work!

Looking forward to see what all those "???" turn out to be :D

Nice list!

I think you could get rid of Santa Monica team 2 though. Weren't they pretty much disbanded when their game was cancelled?
Also I believe the team working on Gravity Rush is called Team Gravity.

Yes, it's Team Siren/Gravity. However take into account that the teams share some of the same people, from what I understand some individuals are part of different teams, and at crunching time a lot of the teams help in the same game.

Naughty Dog doesn't have 2 full fledged teams, they have 1, their meain team that is working on Uncharted 4, and then a small team (probably 30-40 people) working on pre-production for The Last of Us 2, so stating that they have two teams is misleading.

They only have the manpower to be in full production 1 game at the time.
