At one point they were trying to be bought out by a chinese company, but I'm not sure if that actually went through or not...
I do know that they have a partnership with a chinese company, and the ouya store/ platform is on all of there tvs now...
I actually signed up as a developer for OUYA and I get all of their Developer emails. Its cool staying up today on the developements... and anyone can sign up and get this behind the scenes look at the game developer world...
