Forums - Gaming - 3DS monthly releases. 8th gen analysis.

Hello everyone. After reading dozens upon dozens of threads about remasters and the lack of identity of the 8th gen, I have decided to make an analysis of the most succesfull 8th gen console libraries of this gen: the PS4, the XBone and the 3DS. I'm going to look at the monthly schedule of this consoles (or at least try), looking for this information:

-The day of its release. If a game releases months later on another region, I will only count the earlier release (so no timed exclusive).

-Its uniqueness. If the game is an system exclusive, family exclusive (PS exclusive, per example), console/handheld multiplat (exclusive to consoles and/or handhelds) regular multiplat (PC and others included). I will also point out if it's a remake/remaster of and older game, and which gen belonged the original.

-Only major retail releases. I can't keep track of indies and digital only games.

I'm going to start with the launch titles of the PS4 and all major PS4 games released on November 2013. If I make a mistake, I don't write some important data or you think I should add more information, please tell me so. (help needed in the japanese schedule, please).

I'm not trying to criticize any console, I don't pretend to start any flamewar. Just to compare how the libraries of this consoles evolve month after month.

Also, because the 3DS has been in the market way longer than the PS4 or the XBone, I'll try to mix some months. Don't expect any precise dates on the 3DS part for a while.
