Forums - Gaming - 'Bloodborne' Reviews Go Live Tonight

If you’re one of the legion of masochistic gamers out there chomping at the bit to find out every last detail about upcoming PS4 exclusive Bloodborne, tonight’s the night you’ve been waiting for.

The first trickle of reviews—including the first part of my review of the game—will land tonight at 7 pm Pacific Time. I won’t be handing out a score because there’s so much more of the game to experience, especially once online servers go live at launch tomorrow.

Not only is Bloodborne a seriously vast game, it also has tons of PvP and co-op gameplay that can only truly be experienced and written about and reviewed once everyone is online, reviewers and gamers alike.

Either way, look for reviews—some scored, some provisional, some works-in-progress—to go live starting tonight at 7 pm. You’ll find part one of my review-in-progress here on Forbes.

Well that sucks. Shinobi was saying 7 AM. He was off by 12 hours.

anybody who gives a review score tonight is considered a joke of a reviewer in my book. if all the PvP and Co-Op still arent live, then giving a score and final review tonight is pointless. but of course many will, because reviewers care about one thing. money.

I've seen people playing co-op and I've seen people playing the Chalice Dungeon, so I'm guessing the online portion of the game has been up for reviewers too.

Yes, that's what I don't understand either. I saw one yesterday with two people taking on the first area and I've seen and read a lot of stuff about the Chalice dungeon. Perhaps it's not working as intended just yet?

the day one update ads online optimization, what ever that means. but its clear the day one update will have some effect on the online play, and the update improves performance and stability, which we all know effect scores.

IGN will probably have a review in progress at least.

Yeah, and I've just remembered that I think the Chalice dungeon generates content for you based on how you play and what you accomplish, so that would be there without online enabled. It's only when you want to share your dungeon that you need online.
