In fact i would say Xbone is the most common name on the web and generally in real life. I dont think anyone uses it to piss off Xbox fans...the whole concept of an Xbox fan is foreign to most (the idea that a person would get offended by the abbreviation of an Xbox One). People say it because its popular and because its fun/funny to say.
Anyone who actually thinks its said to piss off Xbox fans is seriously self-centered and lacks any sense of perspective.
There might be a select few who do so on forums...but certainly not the majority of forum posters or otherwise.

I'm not really sure what else you could call the Wii U and PS4 other than Wii U and PS4... I suppose the Xbox One's abbreviation is a little bit more ambiguous.

It's not about sensitivity or being self centered or lacking a perspective, or any other insult you want to throw out as a moderator.
Through experience I know 99% of the time it's used by those that wanna trash the system in some way, history and experience.
