This is not for personal gain, The votes are supposed to be the main reason for the page increase but instead we have arguing and bashing. I like it when those participating are enjoying it and slight digs against each other but if you're not doign anything to postively impact the thread so why come in? Everyone needs to have a minimum number of votes for the page boost do you think its fair to them who are now voting (like ka-pi) to not get a fair chance due to someone coming in and increasing the post count with unrelated events and non voting posts? sigh...

Elimination contests are popularity votes, so if you don't want to hear someone's opinions about certain Pokémon you shouldn't make an elimination thread.
