Why? Lucario is one of my favourite pokemon, Cyndaquil not so much. I think gen 2 was the weakest for starters. At least I never hurt poor little Treecko though right?

What?! The gen 2 starters were rad! Their designs were so great and cute! How can you say no to cynda's cute eyes...? TwT I think my least fav gen starters were the 3rd gen, but then again, I didn't really like gen 3 to start.

gen 1 were my fave starters, none sucked. Gen 2 we had chika... gen 3 were all good, but treecko>anything not named squritle/wartortle/blastoise, gen 4... was weak. I like turtwig but yea... gen 5 tepig sucked, gen 6, all good except the fox deserved death

heh, that's funny, the 3rd gen has my favourite starters

Personally I think the gen 3 pokemon's designs were rather alien compared to the previous ones. They all looked so weird at the time, like they were done by a different team. At least at the time of release, I hated their designs, save for some, like Guardevior, Agrron, and Sharpedo. Now, I think I appreciate a lot of the pokemon from that gen.
