How would you react if every Disney theme in KH3 cost $10 as skins for their worlds? Or if different franchises were done as micro-transactions in Smash Bros?
As in, everytime you went to a franchise it had a version without the famous flourishes, settings, or characters, and then a reskin for each one that cost $10 and made the game what is supposed to be. This kinda came up when I saw someone taking a stab at Square Enix in the comparable joke Splatoon thread - but KH is much more interesting because it has some 'impressive' fans among its fanbase. Once I started thinking about 'impressive' fanbases with that particular point on their list of 'selling points' I naturally started thinking about Smash.
This question is for the REALLY big fans of those franchises: If Nomura or Sakurai were somehow possessed by Satan and did/had done this do you think you'd still get it? Secondly, would you get the skins or just play the game for the gameplay (and in the case of KH the slightly wonky story)?
