But it also begs the question what they will be making money from now on, the only profits they ever make are from charging for software updates. All their hardware businesses like Tablets, Phones and XB1 are huge loss makers.

I guess we might be looking at Pay to use Os. . 

Office. They have 2 other divisions bigger and more profitable then Windows, so no biggy.
