Clinton is pretty much a moderate, cut from the same cloth of the likes of Obama, Bushes, McCain, etc. So Sanders would likely get the support of "informed" liberals and more extreme leftists who don't vote for what is popular, but more with regards to whom they agree with more ideologically. |
yeah, he definitely is going to be coming at Clinton from the left... I mean he is so far left that he doesn't even call himself a democrat... I'm just curious how far that far left support will get him. He evidently had a good first day at fund raising, brought in 1.5 million in the first 24 hours, so he is getting some good financial support at least.
Right now, the democratic primary just looks lonely compared to the Republican primary that is looking like a blood bath waiting to happen!

Anyway, I actually think Huckabee isn't running for more media contracts, I think his goal is more of increasing his political capital for a cabinet position or something. Maybe get himself on the bottom of the ticket with a dim hope that he can escape the blood bath at the top of the ticket. With the large amount of candidates in the Republican primary, it really could be anybody that comes out of that thing as they all attack and bring each other down. Hopefully he crashes and burns, I really don't like him and wouldn't want him in any office...
