It's a shame. The Z3 is an awesome phone, would be a shame if the line ended there. You should see some of the underwater selfies I've taken with it. And Remote play works pretty good on the Z3 too.

Since I got the z3 compact i now love taking showers.  Many of my vgchartz posts have happened while washing lol

Ewwww. Remind me never to go into one of your NSFW threads.

I sent a shower snapchat onto my story by mistake instead of just to my gf.  Smartphones are dangerous!

Yep, I played about and hour of Dragon Age Inquisition on it with DS4. I just don't have the doohikie to attach the phone to the DS4 so i don't have to prop the phone up against anything to get a comfortable viewing angle. It's bloody hopeless having it lie flat on a table. It was not absolutely smooth and I would never want to play multiplayer FPS on it. But if you don't have access to your TV and have a hankering to play some single player game that doesn't require millisecond timing then it does just fine.

Damn, that's fine. Thanks for your information.

Friend of mine just got the Z3 Compact and its gorgeous (wasted on her she doesn't game).

I am due a new phone in 3 months, I was considering the full size Z3 but if they are going to drop support...

I have the z3 compact.  It's epic for ps4 remote play especially if you connect a controller to it

Sony should sell a bundle, XPeria with an Exclusive bundle for instance God of War.
Why not pick up games?

Yeah I reckon it'd be pretty sweet! Though I need to be careful not to buy a phone just so I can lie in my bed playing games

they make the best darn phones. sad if it happens.

They make the best tvs too, they just don't price anything reasonable enough for people to have any interest.  Unlike literally every other developer, including Samsung the super giant of them all, they can't get it through their heads that selling for less and still making a profit will make them more money because more people will actually be interested.

And some people want Sony to make a Vita phone

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Wow it's really ironic that the products that I love the most from Sony are the ones giving them trouble.
Their tv's I can vouch are the best in the industry. My 4k sony tv somehow manages to look better than my samsung oled tv(1080p though)which is something I thought was not going to see until a few years after I bought it.
My Z3 suits my taste way more than my 6+ does, and also replaced my late S5.
Really wished more people would give these products a try since they are comparable, perhaps even better than what all other major brands are offering(depending on the kind of user you are.)

Anyways I'd love both divisions to turn around...but considering they release so many flagship products EVERY single year for those two divisions alone, it is very unlike that's gonna happen. The best thing they cold do would be to shrink both of them, one flagship phone per year should be completely fine.I think they been doing this to the tv division for some time now, but it needs to be scaled down even more.

No link?

Definitely happy that I held of on buying a Sony phone last month, if true.

I don't really see why that would matter your phone would still work. I still want to get one beause of the remote play.

Probably because I didn't buy a Z3 when I could've.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Welp, they have to do something eventually and if this is their second big step (first was shutting down their pc division) to profitability, then so be it!
