LOL. man, its just been 2 months. PS4 won 11 out of the 14 months months its been out. 

@underlined: nobody is saying ioi is dumb. but he certainly made the same mistake more than once. infact he undertracked the PS4 at launch, then sony announced 4.2m. then undertracked it in april, then sony announced 7m. then in august when sony announced 10 million. he made the same mistake 3 times within a year.

Couple that with the fact that the X1 is overtracked, and it seems highly unlikely that the PS4 is not winning.

Really good update for Sony.  Hopefully the gap in npd reflects amazon so we can continue to believe it's the ultimate tracker.

That is beautiful. Need to get one of those in Japan too. Hopefully a lot of the souls community upgrade to next gen.

I find it funny that you keep talking about facts, while posting in an amazon thread, and just somehow ignoring all the facts right before your very eyes. Here are some facts for you. 

  1. Last year VGC over tracked the XB1 a number of times in the us giving it the win for weeks or a months. Every single time it was wrong. Except the last two months of last year. So its a fact that it could very well be happening again.
  2. All of last year, amazon rankings (hence this thread poppongbup every month) has been spot on on who wins each months NPD. Every single time. Amazon is like 12-0 on its predictions so far. I would say that's pretty accurate. 
  3. Amazon has the PS4 winning daily weekly all of January, mind you, it has come from behind the XB1 and passed it, and the XB1 keeps dropping, regardless of its price cut. you don't have to be a rocket scientist, what does that tell you?
  4. all other major retailers are for the most part showing the PS4 also ahead of the XB1 so far for the month, again; what does that tell you?
You can make of the above information as you choose, but the facts all point to something in particular. Unless of course you just wanna ignore them all, either way, in 2/3 weeks we will see.

Kingdom Hearts is doing f-ing damage.  PS4 version outsold Xbox One for the year.

There, you can see how wonky VGC's tracking was (and is) and how the site incorrectly predicted the X1 winning certain months when the PS4 actually won.

That's nuts. It's still at #17.

Side note: the PS4 is currently trending towards #7 for the year.

The Order's premium edition sold out again and dropped out of top 100, but the standard edition is now in it.

Some Amazon UK trivia:

For some reason a new listing for Uncharted 4 was added, and quite overpriced (65 pounds), with the previous one being removed.

The Order 1886 is #1 most wished item. It's already #68 best seller of the year.

The AC bundle is being outsold by the PS3 (but the regular SKU is quite above it).

 

edit: wow, you're right. the 40 dollar price put the PS4 version of Kh3 at #14 in the yearly, but the X1 version isn't even in the top 100.

That's not surprising, MGS: GZ sold like 5 times more on PS4 than XB1, and that's still a type of game that can appeal to the XBOX userbase.

Games like KH and FF will have an even bigger disparity between the two consoles, expect the PS4 versions to sell well over 7 times better.
