Forums - Sony - Prof is right again: LizardSquad provided Sony user logins to #GOP

There are some articles up on yahoo and a lot of twitter speculation going on right now that LS is involved.

The hackers announced several days ago that "the company has suffered enough, and is now free to release the movie provided the end scene is removed". But then they sent a conflicting message that Sony must erase all knwledge of this movie ever existing.

"The computer hackers drilled into the network at the elegant St. Regis Bangkok that night and, with a keystroke, laid bare the secrets of Sony Pictures Entertainment. "

Some are saying that it's quite likely LS is involved, given their timeline of hacks on Sony.

Tonight is the night LizardSquad said it had a huge surprise.
What do you think?

Personally, I think it's more plausible than NK. I even said in my first comment on this subject that it could be a hacking group pretending to be NK for the lulz.

Lizard Squad aren't hackers. They're just a group of kids who can set up a DDoS attack. (DDoS =/= hacking)

Well, Lizard Squad to me always seemed like a kiddie hacker group so if they really did hack Sony and got over 100 terabytes of data, it either means I/we have greatly underestimated them or Sony's IT security is that bad! Although, when something like this happens:

Maybe Sony's IT really is that bad and they really need to enforce stricter security measures

I just noticed that lizardsquad bears the same initials as lulzsec

"Anonymous" are the world's best hackers. If the the FBI, CIA, Interpol, etc are afraid of them...it's for good reason!

Anonymous sucks now, it's just a bunch of SJWs.

DDOS = Hack? Ok cool

DDOS = twitter hijackings?

LS have proven they can compromise accounts, and targeted ones even.
And LS was behind that plane bomb scare that had the Sony VP on board.
They said the doxing was a "small taste of what's to come".

I mean, sure. it's possible that all they have is low-end hacking tools and dox ability, but they're also following the timeline and narrative.
