Don't forget the Graphics: SMG vs. Super Mario Sunshine (Or how SMG's graphics were hyped) thread. Some people around should give it a read, great thread really
Well, they were all chosen from my bookmarks, and I don't bookmark stuff I don't think is worth remembering, so in that sense they're all "best". But the Nintendomination, Blu-ray, and PS3/360 thread OPs were all begging to get flamed, and got their wishes, so in that sense they'd be "worst". The God thread OP was pretty innocuous but any religion thread is liable to get pretty heated once certain factions run into each other.
Rol's threads are pure gold. The StarFox 2 thread is on there because the video and OP idea are THAT AWESOME. The Crow Eating Thread is indispensable as well. johnlucas' thread I picked mainly just because it starts with a classic psychotically high Wii prediction and then has tons of people jumping in with their own predictions of wildly varying likelihood.

Most devs didn't use the GC at full, maybe just capcom, nintendo and factor 5... how can be already well know??, there is potential in that machine... SMG dev started in the GC, ZeldaTp is just a port, RE4Wii is just a port too..
