Sad to see low numbers for Japan Studio, but then again they did very little on the PS3 when compared to the PS2, but to be honest big numbers or not they Co-developed Demons Souls and the quality of that game is more important to me than any sales numbers.

I tthought they poduced  low numbers as well to I had a look .

Piyotomo - Locoroco Cocoreccho - The eye of judgement - Echochrome -The Last Guy -Trash panic -Numblast -kung fu rider -Ape Esacape fury fury

Echochrome 2 -Puppeteer - Knack .

Then theres the ones denoted as developed with  like . Mainichi issho -boku no Natsuyasumi 3 -Siren Blood curse - White Knight Chronicles -Demon Souls

White Knight Chronicles 2  - Beat Sketcher -Bleach : Soul Ressurection -Tokyo Jungle -Rain

Then you have all those PSP /Vita games from the same time frame  , like Patopon -Soul Sacrifice - Soul Sacrifice Delta -  Gravity Rush - Destiny of Spirits and Freedom Wars.

Oh my GOD i didnt knew they made all of those games! wow just WOW, cant wait to see what they wil bring in the future to PS4.

Zippers zipper's broke lol. Unless theyve resurected as a new studio.

They should ressurect them as Velcro Interactive , with the motto "our games are gripping".

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

Japan Studio is missing (Knack). And I guess San Diego Studio (MLB), Sumo digital (LBP3) and London Studio (Singstar) if cross-gen counts for the OP.

They are there. Under Media Molecule.

Cool data! But I don't get the difference between 1st and 2nd party?

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Sorry, I meant from PS4's list.

Edit: And actually, Japan Studio is missing too (Knack). And I guess Sumo digital (LBP3) and London Studio (Singstar) if cross-gen counts for the OP. Will edit my original post.

Not owned by Sony but under contract for certain amount of games and partially/totally financed by them.

Ex: Heavy Rain for Sony, Bayonetta 2 for Nintendo, Gears of War 1-3 for MS.

Ok, but you putting GeoW up there doesn't really help clarify things... Are you talking about 3rd party exclusives, or games financed by Sony made by 3rd party companies - like Bayo2?

Wow. I feel like Naughty dog has a real chance at 30m this gen. 2m just off of TLoU remastered??
Let's see, uncharted should sell at least 5m+
Then another TLoU (hopefully featuring some other story with different characters) 5-6m
And that'll probably be within 3 years from launch.

Also, you forget that SSM is involved in a lot of co-development. I'd say that factoring in a percentage of other game sales, they're above insomniac. But insomniac is releasing a new ratchet and clank too, so that should be pretty good, and I expect sunset overdrive to hit ps4 as well at some point.

I'm talking about the bolded.

GeoW was owned and developed by Epic (not a MS's internal studio), just financed by MS. So it was 2nd party. It's only recently that MS bought the IP and are developing it internally, so it's 1st party now.

Similar to Bayo 2: developed by Platinum, published (and in this case owned) by Nintendo.

So yes. 2nd party is basically 3rd party with a contractual obligation to Sony/MS/Nintendo, and financed by these.
