Hmm. New car or PS4?
PS4 it is.
It happens with everything now, at Blizzcon, the Blizzard store/kiosk (a pretty gigantic set of real estate when compared to any other kiosk) sold out of the freakin 2014 Blizzcon pin, within the first day (and not just that, but a huge array of other things...basically, anything anyone wanted, was gone. The leftovers, were...there for a reason.) Everything you got in your goodie bag, all the merch from the blizz store and other kiosks were and probably still are up on ebay the very next day.
Now, I didn't expect to really land anything badass, because the focus was the actual event, not standing in lines. But, I was pretty disappointed that I couldn't even get the pin (they sold a limited amt of tickets, they should've had better supply estimates). Oh well. Lesson for next time, reserve some of the early first day for shopping if you 'really' want to. But man, those lines.
If they didn't want them on ebay they shouldn't have made them so limited, then everyone that wanted could celebrate the 20th anniversary by getting a special edition console.
Sony should've expect this.
The smarter thing to do is to say its limited edition but not actually have it limited until they see the demand for the 20th yr anniversary edition is running dry. This would've gotten Sony many more sales and rendered eBay sellers useless since people would still be able to purchase it at regular price.
