Wow.
In Australia a Wii mote is $70. A Nunchuk is 30 and a Classic Controller is 30.
But sometimes you can find Wii Play or BBA (bundled with a Wii mote down here for $65.
A Dualshock 2 was $50.
Sixaxis and 360 controllers are $80 each.

Dude same here. All that sprinting and holding my breath to snipe has ruined BOTH R3 & L3 for me.

Just wait until each player needs their own 3D stereoscopic goggles for $120. :)

WTH? The 64 only let 4 ppl play at a time. Why on earth would you want 7?
Because the N64's joysticks were about as reliable as 360 consoles, that's why.
I'm not a hardcore gamer. I'm not a casual gamer. I'm a gamer.
I don tthink its that far out for the Wii but for the most part the sixaxis and 360 controller are rip offs. The reason being bot of those controllers added minimal additions(especially 360) yet nearly doubled the price. Wireless stuff is cheap, and the rumble/battery tech is last gen. At lease PS3 has motion sensing.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I paid $25 USD for my last new Xbox 360 controller.
The issue is that 1st party acessories are insanely expensive.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
the wii's controls are a little more understandable in terms of pricing (since it's two pieces). that said, you still need those 2 pieces ($60) to play a good number of games.

Fair point. I still have 2 of mine just fine but 2 others the joysticks snapped off. The odd thing is that just the plastic covering snapped off and the metal pin is still there so you can still turn the pin and use the joystick, it's just painful....
