I don't like things because they are from Japan, but things I like often happen to be from Japan.

Basically since it is the United States and since were a mish mash of many other people we take different parts of each culture and make it our own. I mean one of Americas favorite foods was originally an Italian Dish that has been thoroughly americanized beyond recognition. Just like other cultures before it some parts of the Japanese Culture are bound to influence us. For me my Favorite Holidays are St Patricks Day and Octoberfest.While I am Irish I am not German but the holiday is still fun to celebrate. During Christmas I get two days of gifts becuase of my Italian side and we celebrate La Befana. My favorite music comes Britain with bands including Oasis, Duran Duran, and the Stone Roses. Out of my two favorite movies the City of God comes from Brazil while Trainspotting comes from the UK. I do like Manga, Anime, and JRPG's for many different reasons but that is because I like reading books, watching movies, and playing videogames. I guess my who entire point is that has Americans it is in our blood to take in other cultures.
