Which looks better

Street Fighter V 30 51.72%

Guilty Gear Xrd 24 41.38%

Other (list which and why) 4 6.90%

Total:58

There's a GG demo? Damn, I need to get on that. This is a tough one, I love Street Fighter but I really love the work they did with the new Guilty Gear.

SFV looks like a remaster, lol. I expected to see a big improvement over SFIV. That said it still looks better than GG.

Seems like they are reussing the assets... let's hope they improve a little before release or at least for SF VI... altough if they stay cell-shaded there isn't much room for change as it already looks quite good on the tipe of graphic it uses.

Yep. I'm sure it'll improve till the launch. With this kind of games they tend to focus on the gameplay aspect first.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I liked the game style and gameplay very much... fluid as SF for me (not specialist) and a pleasant anime looks... try it out... I discovered looking for all games available... it was free on Store since they are preping for release. Enjoy it.

Yep, unless they go cheap... but since I love some SF I'll buy it. If I go for full price if they do it good, if not I'll way for special edition and them buy the old one for 20. =] I'm a lot cheaper then them.

And SF gameplay is really good (I played Injustice, didn't like one bit of it).

I just wish there was a MegamanX game that used the GG engine.

Art style has no relation to the game's engine.

This comes down to semantics; both games are rendered differently. The art style of a game is inherently contingent upon the engine, however. In this case, it probably has no impact. I honestly couldn't give rat's ass why Megaman isn't HD cel-shaded, I just want it to look like that.

Guilty Gear for me, emulating 2D with 3D characters looks amazing.

I didn't saw 3D in GG... for me was 2D chars on 2D background... Altough it looked quite pretty.

The characters are polygon models instead of sprites using cel shading to look like 2D sprites.
