Looks like we have an interesting battle on in Japan. X1 software vs PS4 hardware. 

This week PS4 just edging it out with 14k units versus X1's 9k software units. 

Lifetime PS4 has a good lead but it had a headstart. 

800k PS4 vs 100k X1 software. 

When the X1 big movers like Halo 5, Gears 4, Ryse of the Tom Braider and Kinect Rivals 3 hit we could have a serious battle on our hands. 

Who will win? 

Final Fantasy XV alone will outsell the whole XBO library, why is this even a question?

the japanese were humbled by knack. Go into the game data base on here and look at it's epic sales!

The 360 couldn't do it against PS3 despite being much more popular than X1 arguably and having a lot more Japanese games support. So no.

PS4 HW, dont know why I am but Im hopeful for PS4 to surpass PS3 HW. XBO SW wont come close to 360 SW because a lot of the big sellers simply wont be their this time around.

What its an intresting idea, MS actually won this battle according to VGC last gen

Since Hideo Baba said he wont make the "mistake" of making another Tales game exclusive to the Xbox then i have to say PS4 HW.

Well I think Sony will win both HW and SW.. Once Bloodborne and other games release. But still think MS have Done good recently month.
