Hint #13: "You are almost as good a Hunter as I was. But, the time of your destruction has arrived! You shall regret ever having defied me!"

Hint 2 #13: Collect all the parts, and you can "Hadoken!" in this game.

Atta boy Truck, great game if folks here haven't checked it out.

#15: Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Eidos Montreal, 2011) - PS3 (also on 360, Wii U and PC)

This game interested me right from the start and I was planning on buying it. But it just so happens it was given for free on PS Plus. And what do you know, I fucking loved it. I mean, it's a stealth game with rpg elements, WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE? The mere description of this game sounds badass (stealth + rpg, delicious). The plot is interesting and kept me hooked throughout the game. Sadly, the ending is rather... inconclusive. The voice-acting is decent, though many characters (mostly the chinese) sound like caricatures (maybe it was intentional?), which pisses me off. Most people complain about the bosses, but frankly, I didn't mind them. One of the bosses you don't even fight, you have an argument with him, and it's still fun. Ha.

The Director's Cut looks pretty cool, especially on the Wii U with the Gamepad integration. Will definitely play it one day. Also planning on playing the first game and Invisible Wars (which most peopl say sucks) eventually.

But like I said. STEALTH. WITH RPG ELEMENTS.

I know! Q*Bert

Q*Bert is older than Tetris...

Cubivore?

Q*bert. Nice... but no .

Haven't heard about Cubivore, that looks interesting.

No, my game literally revolves around blocks.

Fez?

Good guess! But also, not it .

Fez is pretty similar to my game though, and it could technically have been it considering my hint, but it's still not literal enough. Fez is too complicated.

I'm *this* close to checking out last year's list

#14: The Legend of Dragoon (Sony Computer Entertainment, 2000) - PS1

A friend of mine insisted I should play this game (seeing as it's his favorite game of all time). And I'm glad he did, as it's one of the best rpg's I've ever played. The plot is nothing mind-blowing (though it's still good and entertaining), and the soundtrack is kinda forgettable*. But the graphics are incredible for the system, and the battle system is TONS of fun, thanks to the Addition system. It's like those timed attacks of Super Mario RPG, but waaaaaaaaaaay deeper/cooler.

Critics bashed this game for trying too hard to copy FF or something like that. I never understood that, seeing as everybody who played this game agrees it's great. It's a shame the franchise died so early, it could potentially be a big rpg series. I'm talking 2-3 million per game here. This game came out in the end of the PS1 lifecycle and still sold around 2 million, and when it was released on PSN, it remained the best-selling PSOne Classic for A LONG time, finally topping Final Fantasy VII.

This game's development was actually led by Shuhei Yoshida, who revealed a sequel was put into pre-production. Seeing as he's now the big guy at SCE Worldwide Studios... there's hope.

*though it does have a delicious main theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWWgIgj3eoo

Well, it was on there. What can I say, the game's a ball .

Tetris?

Not either. At least I can say it's newer than Tetris, but older than your last guess .

Kresnik maybe knows my game, I once talked to him about it, but he hasn't been active in this thread this year.

It's that obscure early PS puzzlish platformer. I remember this from last year, can picture it in my head, have no idea of the name.

Edit (without googling, i swear) is it Qubos?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
