Who cares what you think of muslims? We're on a site where people could spin anything to suit their argument, thus your OP means nothing. You got banned for a reason, keep this out of here. We're here to discuss video games. Topics like this invites haters/racist and those who know nothing to post whatever they want which is why no good discussion could be had.

I did not twist the verse to fit my criteria, that's what Muslims (Usually unknowingly) do when they take the verse out of context.

That said, unless you can give a reason why I'm wrong, please do not tell me I am wrong, nor present what you say in a unpolite manner (That's what I got from it).

This is what i mean, by you trying to attack others and making multiple topics about it. I'm done with you...

And I already showed you why I think my claim is true in the OP. I'm not attacking anyone, I am only saying why one specific claim is incorrect.

To be fair what he's saying is related to the religion of Islam as opposed to the believers of Islam.

Talking about the people of Islam is problematic as if you were to ask 100 different muslims 100 different questions relating to Islam it is unlikely you would not get two people in complete agreement. Therefore questioning the content of Islam is a more productive method of discussion.

And to be clear muslims are not a race of people, but a losely related group of people who's religious beliefs stem for a similar source.

This is the Game of Thrones

Where you either win

or you DIE

people should use the useful stuff from religion (you shall not steal etc) and ignore the fantasy.

Reading 10000000000000 billion year old texts and trying just to interpret it the wrong way is nonsensical.

I mean ever heard of chinese whispers? Everyone knows how bad the original message can fuck up with just 3 or 4 people. Now compare that to reiligion with 1 million people translating from different languages and dialects and then there is wars some of the text got lost and people tried to restaurate the lost stuff. Then some wannabee cool people added stuff just for the lulz and others didnt like some stuff that was written down centuries ago and so removed that etc

Religion is good but only if you just follow the "plausible/good/nice/ethical etc" rules.

I thought the Bible was 3,500 years old, the Qur'an is 1,400, and they have big proofs of their preservations.

A a counter point to what your saying, some might say that you have to take the good with the bad. If you honestly believe it's the word of god then how can you decide to ignore some parts and still claim to adhere to that faith?

While I agree with you 100% that people should disregard any text, religious or otherwise, that instructs them to act in what they consider an immoral way I don't know how to respond to the above other than saying "why believe any of it?".
