Forums - Gaming - worst video game sequel or series follow up game

Well the worst continuation of a series was the 4th crash bandicoot, the one on PS2. The first 3 were top notch, then the 4th one sucked balls.

Haven't all the Crash Bandicoot's after Naughty Dog stopped making them sucked? I guess the same thing would go for Spyro the Dragon (though I've never really played them apart from the first one) after Insoniac stopped making them?

Devil May Cry 2 for sure for me worst sequel...

I do agree Spiderman 3 movie was the worst sequel for a movie ever

The biggest series f*** up has to be Sonic.

Clearly you have never seen Highlander 2: The Quickening.

Devil May Cry 2, Halo 2, every Mario game after N64, every Zelda game after Ocarina of Time, every Final Fantasy game after 7, and every Medal of Honor after Medal of Honor: Front Line.

I might say Zelda 2. A good game in it's own right, but kind of a big middle finger to all the Zelda fans.

My Games of 2011:

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Super Mario 3D Land

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

I agree with the whole list... I would however add mortal kombat 3 to it...

Fixed.

I hope that one day you'll play the PAL version of this game and understand. Luigi's ghost on Luigi's raceway 2:13 instead of 1:30. Yes, that's how fast the PAL version runs. For comparison, PAL versions usually ran 17.6 % slower than NTSC games back in the day.

Since I've never played a Mario Kart game, can you explain what you are talking about with "Luigi's ghost on Luigi's raceway 2:13 instead of 1:30"?
