Forums - PC - Windows Vista SP1?

It was released but caused a LOT of problems so it's delayed again. It's said they are looking into it at the moment but expect SP1 to be released in april/may.

I'm sticking with XP. I have a feeling that XP will still be the main operating system until the next one shows up.

Oh sure, have something that's an upgrade from Windows ME >_> I'm trying to get my parents to buy a new desktop because it has XP and somehow the whole computer is locking up and not working right. When I got Vista on my old laptop, it ran much better (it had XP too and it was not doing anything good), but since it's a Toshitba laptop (pun intended), it completely starts dying.

Plus, nothing beats Vista's easy-on-the-eyes interface. Plus it looks so soothing to my eyes.

I would check in your P2P program under options for something along the lines of, use 100% bandwidth when computer is idle. While it should not continue using your connection completely when you start using it again, there could be a bug somewhere along the line that is keeping it at 100% usage.
