Isn't it a reference to the big Norman Reedus reveal at the end of P.T. also though? The whole thing feels a bit like their Destiny Perfume joke - poking a little bit of fun at the competition.

Its a parody of P.T. made by a fan that plays Project Spark.  Has nothing to do with MSFT.

This and Little Big Plan It have been brilliant xD  Hope the community makes more stuff like them.

I didn't get the this man is an actor part? Someone explain please

The rest was clear!

That man is an actor...literally

But its a fun parody on the "paid actor" parts of commercials.

*sigh* there's always somebody.

MS had NOTHING to do with this video or Little Big Plan It. These are fan made games in Project Spark.

Nevertheless, don't you think the Nicholas Cage part is poking fun at the Reedus reveal? Why so prickly? :^)

Nicholas Cage was poking fun at "These are not paid actors, these are real reactions"

No it has nothing to do with Norman Reedus. In some PT ads there were people who weren't actors playing the game. Nick Cage playing the game while saying "This is an actor" is a play on that, not Norman Reedus.

I'm "prickly" because ignorance spreads quickly. So I had to cut it before someone else thinks what you thought.

Ok, it sounds like you got that straight from the horse's mouth so I guess that settles it then. :D

Why not both? Ignorance is in the eye of the beholder, friend.

No. Ignorance is in the mind of the ignoramus, friend.

Well, namecalling aside, I think it's pretty obvious that one intended element of comedy is "P.T. had Norman Reedus, an actor, we have Nicholas Cage". But that's me :)

ETA: Dinosaur Jr is my all time favorite band by the way ;)

friend is namecalling? You started the namecalling then.

Nicholas Cage is not in this game. He's just a reaction of someone playing.

Because it can only be a reference if it's an exact re-enactment? You do have firm opinions about stuff..

The thing pokes fun at P.T. and incidentally there's a famous actor making cameos in both. I'm not saying I could know for sure without having the opportunity to ask the creator himself... But maybe I'm already speaking to him?

ETA: this is kind of silly at this point. I'm just offering my take on it, you're free to disagree. It's not exactly a matter of life and death.
