WiiU will be my first around teh holidays, then PS4 some time in 2015 or 2016.


Nice I already have a Wii U and its a very good console with top of the line games despite what people say. The browser is the best i have ever used on any console but the only thing keeping it back is cross game chat and party chat like features. From what i can see they are getting better with each update. That Bayonetta 2 demo is the best thing ihave layed my hands on this generation and smash with be epic as usual. Youre making a good choice :)

Yeah, I'm getting it for Smash, and I already own Mario Kart 8 actually, just no console to play it on yet. =p
I hear the Wii U network is better than the 3DS one, so that's a relief. On 3DS you can't send messages to people you meet online or add them as friends, which is rediculous.


I also own a 3DS and that statement is false. I send friend request to people i meet online all the time on pokemon X. You used to be able to send messages through an app called swapnote but Nintendo shut it down since a pedophile used it to send nasty messages to kids (true story). I dont know if they will allow messages through 3DS miiverse in the future though.

Huh, really? I was specifically talking about Pokemon X actually. I've traded Pokemon with people, and they appear on my aquantainces list, but I find no option to send them any messages or friend code requests. How do I send a message to one of these people?


Thats what i just said, you cant send them messages anymore. Hopefully they put back a featue to message people in the near future. You can however add random people to your friend list you meet online.

Just to be clear, if a random person traded a pokemon with me in the game, they will appear in my aquaintances list. Can I somehow send them a message or friends code request? If so, how?


There is a way and i did add a few people. I will check it out later and let you know.
