This hotfix includes a number of changes to weapon balance across archetypes (e.g., lowering Auto Rifle effectiveness and increasing Scout Rifle damage output), specific weapons (Vex Mythoclast and Pocket Infinity) and includes a number of fixes to issues with the Templar encounter in the Vault of Glass.

We're still working on a larger update which will address under-performing Exotics and overall class balance.

pretty happy about that templar fix. my group wanted to do that yesterday and it was quite boring.

yay boost to scout rifiles because that is what i have. xD

The weapon changes was not that huge... glad they make the aim better in mid-air with hand-canon (it is so cool to play with it).

And I like how they fixed the cheese points in VoG... they need to fix the Atheon too.

That's a lot of weapon changes for a game that was supposedly perfectly balanced.

Idk why they don't have separate gun mechanics for PVP and PVE. Ok, I understand that in PVP, some of the weapons are just stupid good and way unbalanced. But that doesn't translate 1:1 to PVE. It just makes the harder to obtain weapons, perform just like the other weapons.

There is a noticeable difference in PVE on scout rifles. I am sure it's still worthless in PVP but will try later.

Scout Rifles are really good in PVP even before the hotfix... I used the Vision of Confluence and it didn't lost to Vex Mythoclast at all.

PS. Iron Banner I used Vex Mythoclast Vision of Confluence and Ice Breaker... left my Fusion Rifle and Auto Rifle out for this event... now I'm starting to use Hand Canon and I'm loving the way it works.

Edit - lol I don't have Vex Mythoclast... I guessed I copied the name of the Vision of Confluence and not the Vex Mytohclast.

Sorry but you're the same guy who watched a video of a guy annihilating people with the Mythoclast and tried to tell us it was perfectly balanced and the dude was just amazing no matter what gun, even though a look at his stats showed him to be a merely competent player. You also have an abysmal K/D ratio, and tried to tell us shotguns and fusion rifles are the guns that require real skill.

Long story short, I am glad you feel competitive with your Vault dropped legendary LOL. However it doesn't speak to the general mechanics of the game, hence uh, you know, the patch.

I stop to discuss it with you guys.

But it is true I think it is balanced... it is not a big advantage in PVP... skills still matters more than everything else... that is why a skilled guy with a crap weapon yet win over a non-skilled guy with Vex.

That is what I call balance.

Yeap I'm so bad lol I don't even know why I got to be in the top players in my teams... you can check all my matchs you will see a lot of stats like that.

Skill matters in any FPS. Until someone makes a game where each encounter is solved by an on screen roll of the dice, skill will always matter. You're making obvious but entirely irrelevant observations here. There are still guns in the game that are more powerful than others and guns that are broken in PVP. Otherwise, Bungie wouldn't nerf them. You're going to say whatever it takes to put Destiny in a positive light, you proved it in the other thread when you actually defended the Mythoclast. So yeah, you probably should stop to discuss it with you guys.

You can claim the gun was balanced fine, yet.. patch from the makers of the game.
You can claim scout rifles were awesome in PVP yet... patch from the makers of the game.

Hopefully the PVP actually is more balanced now.

Just if you wish to see my matches in Crucible.

This one is my last match (there is a bug in bungie site that the overall team score is not summing everybody score): http://www.bungie.net/en/Legend/PGCR/2/4611686018428861079/2305843009215419047/503164302?_

Every game have patchs...

I don't think these ones changed how you play PVP... and I think all weapons are awesome... I'm in love with Hand Canon now (I'm a bit bad with it yet).

You can be good with any weapon... that is what means Balance... there is not best weapon in PVP in Destiny... you can be a killer machine with any type.

PS. PVP continue the same from what I talked with GAFers... you can use and be good with any weapon... the Vex is yet a good weapon and the others are in the same level... maybe the most nerfed weapon was Pocket Infinity but it is yet awersome to use.
