What should I Get Dragon Age Inquisition on?

PC 17 28.81%

PS4 36 61.02%

Just avoid it all together :P 6 10.17%

Ok so I want to get the Game there is no questioning that, but what I have a problem with is what should i get it on?

Now I have two choices, the First is I get it for the PC Now i have a pretty good Rig nothing crazy but I have a GTX660, AMD CPU 3.5 Quadcore, and 12gigs of RAM.(Dont think i can run on Max settings with this)
Now the Second is I get it for the PS4, now I am thinking My PC would still be Graphically superior but the game is supposedly multi-player and More of my friends have a PS4 then a Decent gaming rig, also Not really a big fan of Origin which u will need to play Dragon Age on the PC

So my question is which should i get based on my rig specs and overall what you guys are getting it on?

P.S. Dragon age:origins is free on Origin right now for PC users, so a great thing for people who havent played the games.

Well... A 660 is basically the same as a 7850 (the PS4 gpu) and since EA has low level access to that... In theory... The ps4 should either be graphically the same or better so, just cause Origin sucks soo much, I would say the ps4 version (unless you prefer the keyboard/mouse for DA:I over the controller)

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I'm getting it on ps4. Not upgrading my pc until Star citizen or OR comes out with a good game.
1080p is good enough for now anyway, I don't have a 4K tv yet.

you should be able to run it at least as good as the ps4 on the pc and the game is cheaper
i think you still need origin for console versions of ea games, at least pvz needed it
in the end it comes down to better graphics (that will get even better when you upgrade your rig in the future) and cheaper price vs more friends in mp

Waiting for the exact same thing... I have hard time running SC build today, I need to upgrade but I want to wait for the full game.

It sounds like the Dragon Age Keep might actually allow choices made in DA:O and DA2 to be transferred across any platform. So at least your decision may not bound on what platforms you played the first 2 games.

I think it comes down to how you prefer to play the game: KB+M or controller. My PC probably doesn't even meet the minimum specs to play DA:I. I played DA2 on PC and PS3 and in terms of controls I actually preferred te console. But the loading times were horrendous so the overall experience was better on PC. However as I only had DA:O on PS3 until yesterday PS3 was my go to platform.

I have the opposite dilemma in terms of multiplayer. The only people I know personally who play the DA series are PC gamers, so I will be the Nigel no-mates on PS4. If/when I get a PC good enough to run DA:I I may end up getting it if my PC friends are still interested in playing some co-op. I you really want to play with your friends then it seems like PS4 is the way to go if you are fine playing with the controller.

One thing I really like with DA:I is that the console version now allows for tactical "god's eye" view. For running around the world and adventuring I like the TPS perspective. But when it comes to managing a battle, especially a fairly big battle, then I much prefer the tactical view as it give a much better perspective of the whole combat.

So excited for this game.

And the jumping! OMG bringing verticality into the world is awesomeness. I can see that they have taken some great cues from Elder Scrolls, but at the same time left behind the crap that turns me off TES.

Screw graphics. Tactical game = PC. I can't even imagine playing Dragon Age on a home console. Though, I guess you could play it hack-n-slash style but how can it even touch mouse+keyboard otherwise?

In my world, games like Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, and Dragon Age are PC exclusives.

The console versions are the complete game this time around.  Unlike the PS360 versions or all versions of Dragon Age 2 which were behind the back only, the PS4 and Xbox One versions will allow you to pause gameplay and switch to overhead tactical view  so you can now give your AI proper commands this time around.

mmk well i will say its not really an issue of Keyboard and mouse vs. controller since i can use a controller on the PC, so that is an issue all together. Other then that i might just see with what my friends go with.
