I think reviews generally prove correct if a game is "good" so in general i trust them.
I try or buy games with bad reviews only if the concept of the game or the genre interests me and after i watch a youtube gameplay video for those ones.

never did.
Metascore etc is just something I look up out of curiosity and then see how 90% of the time the score is complete bullshit.
Like how can GAME that has sub 20 FPS get a score of above 60? The last ones i looked up were GOTY games with 95% or so (ROFL)
They just get good scores because they look good? Or because they have a good story (If I want good looking stuff I would go to IMBD and watch movie ratings. But even in movies visuals are not the most important part. But when a good looking game with good strory gets 90+% a movie with the same story would only get 70% because the story would be pretty predictable or it would be concidered generic for movies)
