This is how you make a camera successful, Microsoft. Just don't shove it down people's throats and lower its price to half and Kinect might have a second wind.

I still think it's because I can't use a standard web camera when you want to chat or stream with a game. That's their marketing edge lol.

For right now, yes.  While Sony doesn't seem to be focusing on it much, it does still work with the Move controller and can do basic motion gaming by itself.  It also will be used to track the Morpheus VR helmet when it launches.  My guess is that when Sony can afford to drop the price to ~$249-$299, and more casual gamers don't think its too expensive, then they will start focusing a little more on motion gaming.

How does Sony's PS4 Camera selling well, while gamers were crying for Kinect to be optional, show that MS's original plans for Kinect wasn't a terrible idea?  If anything, it proves the exact opposite.

I was debating on getting one,but $60 is way to much,same thing with there controller. don't know why those things cost the same amount as a full price game.

It's actually pretty fun and a great party game.  Also you can play a cool version of air-hockey.

Actually, right now on Amazon, it's $42.  Not sure if that's a more acceptable price for you, or not?

Just an update. Looks like the PS4 Cam is now #50. Only 3 spots below the XBO+Kinect and 4 spots below the Titanfall bundle. I think the PS4 Cam is going to pass both pretty soon if this keeps up.
