Depends on which PC. Zero definitely can't with his 4 year old PC but Subiya can be on par with his 2 year old 7870 with multiplats since the PS4 equivalent is around a 7870. Since it's a console it will also play the games better since developers will be programming close to the metal they will get much better results compared to comparative PC specs.

Thats where your wrong, so far my PC can play any multiplat just as good as my PS4 with bad console ports being the exception (DR3 and Watch Dogs but mods helped make watch dogs look and run even better then the PS4 version on my PC so..).

Sorry if I don't believe you but coming from the specs of your 4 year old PC, It's just not happening.

For now, sure. I'd argue that exclusives like Infamous are a step above anything a PC that old could achieve, but as far as multi-plats are concerned an older PC can probably outpace both the PS4 and X1 quite frequently for now.

Even exclusive are pretty poorly optimized right now (in the grand scheme of things). All the currently release ones will have spent the majority of their development cycle being made for an incomplete console :p I was surprised to see Killzone/Ryse level titles at launch.

Well, judging from the specs you've given us, PS4 shits all over your rig, both GPU and RAM wise, and given your post history regading this topic, I think I'll go with numbers and facts (provided that you gave us correct info regarding your PC) rather than your own words...

Hmm here goes, i built this machine for SC2 back in June 2010.
Intel i3 1st Gen
8 GB Ram
Nvidia GTX 460
Just upgraded the HDD to a SSD, makes a big difference.Still have the old HDD hooked in for large files and stuff.
I'm not really into shooters so the machine still does fine for me, i have been playing through divnity original sin lately, runs perfectly.

I play on my notebook.
Core i7 1,9GHz, 6GB RAM and an onboard video card (Intel HD 4000). It surprisingly runs many games pretty decently. I've beaten Most Wanted and Metal Gear Rising no problem here, for example.

It can also run a few ps2 games through emulation - FFX runs pretty much flawlessly =P. Thank god, because I wanna replay it, my PS2 got stolen, and I can't afford the HD Remaster now...

You dont have to believe me but the pics i posted show otherwise as i cant think of anything on the Ps4 that runs better or looks better then on my PC atm.

Saying that my CPU could be helping a lot.

You serious? Most of what you posted isn't even close to as good as on PS4 even though they are close up to the characters faces during talks from the characters. If you wanna do that Beyond 2 Souls looks better than anything you posted when you zoom in to the faces. The only impressive one is some of the Skyrim pics because they are in small enclosed areas and I'm pretty sure I've seen 1 of those exact pics posted somewhere else. From those multiplats that are currently on PS4 which is Tomb Raider and soon to be Sleeping Dogs you can cleary see Tomb  raider destroys the 1 crappy pic you posted. Your 4 year old PC does not run multiplats as well as a PS4, that's a fact.

Yeah i think most of the pics posted have been PS3 level.

Care to post your own videos of Farcry 3 running maxed in 1080p with that AA?

The other games you pictured are nothing special. DMC and Sleeping Dogs run maxed in 1080p quite well on a Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.5GHz with a HD5770 1GB. The fact that they use no, or next to no DX11 features help quite a lot. In fact, on my old rig, DMC ran maxed in 1080p @ 60fps with next to no drops. That doesn't tell much. Come back with your own vids, if you want to prove a point. And please, make them using games that use similar features that the newer games use.

Thankfully you understand. The games he posted don't even make sense to compare to multiplats on PS4. Makes as much sense to compare Beyond 2 Souls to any of the close up shots to the characters faces he posted.

Of course. I'd like to see how well his rig runs Tomb Raider in 1080p with TressFX active, in comparison to the PS4 version.

LOL is anyone gonna post games that are actually on PS4?
