HylianSwordsman said: Mr Khan starts by quoting Marth in his check in post here Says he got one of his old Melee mains here Makes a joke about the serial killer here. Biggest contribution he's made all game thus far and it's joking around with setup speculation. Says he's a fast character here Says town needs to be more active before leaving himself, again with Marth-like flavor here Says we should be offline playing real Smash here Says he'd be playing Smash if the update would go through here. So much for that family wedding happening that night, he's gonna play Smash. Defend White's doctor fishing here, despite that White was hardly the first mover, just the first person to react to Smeag's joking, and in a dangerous way. Also White wasn't the only person gathering info. Talks to a newcomer here, let's the conversation drop after that. votes for Astro here Astro throws out the idea that Mr. Saturn could be one of the roles, Radish points out how silly this is. Khan unvotes Astro and gives some Mr. Saturn flavor here Astro makes his non-playable characters could be in the game argument. I call him out on the bullshit, forcing him to concede the non-playable character point, though he holds onto the "town-like roles can be scum" point, Yoshiya convinces me to compromise. Astro says I'm active, but he thinks I'm scum, his gut feeling. Only grounds he has are that I told Nickles not to be overconfident, which he twists into me "targeting" Nickles, and that I targeted him when he became active with what he now admits is bad play. Basically implies I shouldn't follow good leads, just like he implied with his earlier post that I originally replied to. This one, where he shoots down Nickle's argument and tries to shoot down several things we could use to find scum, like considering day talk, the part of the post to which he never responded. But that's Astro, getting upset at people for using simple logic. But then of course Khan decides getting upset with people for using simple logic is the best reasoning we've seen all game here. Says he's looking for good arguments, still getting used to being town after being a Shield Marine last game here. Apparently going off on a joke is defendable if WhiteEagle does it, and *somebody* has got to gather information, but now he's implying there's a "wild gunman" that's attacking for no reason. Couldn't possibly be me, could it? I'd hope not, I've given my reasoning for what I've done. Other people have already targeted others for less than I have. This wild gunman could be anyone. And there it is, apparently it was me, because now he's voting me "to get a reaction". Sure, Khan. It had nothing to do with me targeting the person with shoddy logic and crummy play that you decided to defend as having the best logic thus far for saying that he suspects me for daring to point it out.
Khan is scum. He spends half the day with meaningless flavor posts suggesting he's Marth. A post or two would have been enough to get the idea across if he was forced to claim. But no, he makes 4 of them. He's got to drive the point home for when he fake claims Marth. Meaningless posts continue excusing inactivity due to Smash. Yes, many of us were playing Smash, but still, the first real opinion post with any substantial content he posts comes later when defends someone for trying to out the doctor, on the grounds that "someone's got to gather info!", as if White was the only one gathering info. Not sure what this says about White, but Khan apparently approved of what White was doing. Empty post to Spurge to look like he's doing something, then votes for a scum buddy to distance himself while also not providing anything incriminating against the scum buddy. He then immediately takes his vote away, despite that Astro contributed nothing after Khan's vote aside from a post that he's interested in my play, echoing Nickle's disapproval of Noctis (right after Nickles accused him of not contributing), and speculation that items like Mr. Saturn might be characters in the game. After Astro's Mr. Saturn suggestion is called out by radish, Khan responds with Mr. Saturn flavor and unvoting Astro, showing his approval of the suggestion. Then Astro extends the bullcrap further with his post about non-playable characters being a possibility, a natural extension to his previous Mr. Saturn suggestion. Astro wants to build himself a claim that can't be counterclaimed. Because prof is sooooooo crazy, ya know! He just might do it! Nevermind that this defies Occam's razor and is just generally farfetched and stupid. But I call it out, and of course Astro decides that for calling out stupidity he's going to suspect me (it's actually for ruining the counterclaim he was setting up, of course). So what does Khan do? He sides with Astro. In fact he gives Astro lavish praise. Dude calls you out for your bullshit so now you suspect him! Best reasoning in game! Khan then decides to imply that I'm a wild gunman, but of course he's too afraid to refer to me directly. But it sets him up to vote for me. To "get a response" as if he needed an active, aggressive person to be more active and aggressive. And now he "got things moving". How cute. He got the active and aggressive guy to move. What a hero for town!/s Seriously. I'll be shocked if he's not scum. He seems a lot like he was when he was scum, his excuse being that his time as town last game wasn't enough to get used to being town. If I could vote you twice I would, scum. You and your buddy Astro. |
That was an interesting analysis. Most detailed one I've read so far.
