Whilst I agree with everything you've said, I would like to point out that Noctis does indeed always insta-vote for Spurge (at least in the games I remember playing with him).  He also has a reputation for lurking (not saying that you're wrong for picking up on that, just to help you meta a bit more when analysing his posts :) )

well that's how I play my my game. I am to lazy to pull up the old mafia game threads. I always target spurge on day 1.

Damn it closed this tab on accident ok Redoing now and instead of 5 at a time Im going 1 at a time. I got excited because I beleive I caught Noctis so thats my bad. I lost what I posted but Im'm redoing it now but 1 at a time and no distractions this time. First lets start with Astro.

It seems like a replay of last game. Theprof found this behavior from Astro troubling, apparently in Theprofs experience when Astro is town he is more active and engaging and cares more. So because of this I will be watching Astro closely. Occam's Razor, if he plays like he played when he was mafia, chances are he is mafia. Time will tell tho and it's still early but I am getting a mafia read. I do not like his or Imp's read on Eric. I don't like how they both basically assume he is town as if they know and don't even consider he is mafia. Yes he is more active, he likely learned from last game. There is also the fact that Theprof gave a good amount of time between the time everyone got their PM's and the time the game started. So Mafia had plenty of time to meet, talk, plan, and coach before Day 1 started. Then there is the fact that everyone has a role which greatly increases the chances that there is daytalk. So I find it it troubling that neither considered the possibility that maybe Eric was coached. Especially since he seriously voted for Cone(the most active investigator at the time) after smeags tried to paint Cone as a healing role. Granted he did take his vote off Cone but it gave the feeling that he was told to.  

You are joking right? That post was from 4 hours ago and long after my post count...You said you posted twice before my post count. Which was a lie. Then you conviently make a post 4 hours ago mentioning work and then accuse me of lying for saying you had 0 posts when the game started. You said my post count was false and that you had 2 posts. You didn't You had one pre-game post and 0 posts once game started until after I put in my post count. So you slipped and now you are trying to cover your tracks. 

Well ofc you don't know his true motives, that's the point of the game, to guess people's motives, are they being motivated to defend town or are they motivated to work against it. Such a comment seems incredibly out of place in a game of mafia, especially from a veteran. That coupled with your Day 1 vote which, whilst not unheard of, is out of character for you is making me pretty suspicious of you tbh.

Correct me if I'm wrong and the game has changed in the time that I last played but the Day not starting the moment the thread opens is kind of weird for a game of mafia here. As such, how do you know that the mafia were definitely able to talk before that time? There is no way to know if that time period would be treated as Day or Night by Prof or even if it counts as game time at all (and as such, mafia might not have been allowed to talk because the game hadn't started yet) and if it was counted as Day, as you yourself have mentioned, we have no way to know that Day talk is allowed in this game or not. Talking with such conviction about something that town can't know in order to cast suspicion on two other players just ends up reflecting badly on yourself in my opinion.

I'm interested to see how Hylian will play now that he hasn't brought in at the end of the day. His last performance wasn't much to go on.

The way Noctis is reacting is a bit interesting. Seems to be very cautionary. Could be overcompensating for not having a town role.

What character could be the watcher?

I don't see how (every?) player having a power role makes it more likely for the Mafia to have Day talk
