If by lost you mean confused by the multiple possible explanations all the manipulative roles have introduced, then yeah. I am finding it difficult to track down all the possible paths that the scans and tracks or what not might have taken in this game. It's getting easier as the list of players dwindles down, but I still feel it's more important to test the clear cut results we have, than to try to come up with the possible solutions for why things would be muddled.
For example, when Khan scanned Yoshiya, that settled the lynch for that day for me. When he flipped scum, it reinforced that we did the right thing. Now that we have another successful scan, the lynch is just as obvious today. When you flip scum, it won't really give us much more info than what we already have though. If you are town like you keep claiming, everything gets thrown out of balance. Then we have to assume that Khan might have bussed yoshiya to confirm himself and that's why Yoshiya really didn't bother to put up a defence for example. Or we have to figure out why you came up with a scan if you were clean and rethink Stefl or try to find another redirect possiibility and so on and so on.
Anyway, I agree that I am playing a different game this time around. Mostly it's a case of activity and while it is true that I've made a concious effort to not let the game interfere with my work this time around, it is also because of the role I have been trying to protect. The last game I played with complete abandon. I was pure vanilla town and had nothing to fear from anyone. I didn't care if I got killed or lynched, I didn't have to worry about giving away my abilities, I could basically just say anything I wanted. Playing with the role I have now has turned out to be much different.
