That looks amazing!!!!!! Sooo much open space! Wait... Tetsuya is stepping down? SHITTTTT

Shouldn't you be happy?  It probably means he's done everything he needs to for the game and now can focus 100% on KH3.  Looks like a good sign on the progression of the games development.

Yea but its just odd to me that a director steps down like that? Like, is this an actual thing that happens frequently with many games cause I never heard of someone stepping down as the director when the game isn't 100% complete?

LOL just because they show a road trip thing in the beginning suddenly the whole game is a road trip game? And because they showed an open world, it's already Xenoblade? What? Also did you guys notice the team support gameplay? Like how your team mates defend you and help you when you are low in health and also the tag team attacks and switching characters.

Agreed. I doubt they would compare it to xenoblade if it was coming out on wiiu.

I'm just disappointed Nomura is not directing it anymore.

I think same thing happened with Final Fantasy XII.

I can't even think of another director that was making two huge AAA games on the scale of FFXV and KH3 at the same time.

It's a game that has already had a DECADE long dev cycle. It's pretty clear at this point that there's nothing about it's development that isn't odd. It will be a gaming miracle if it actually ends up great. Though I still hope for the best, since the FF series needs it.

Meh. This game could easily run on the Wii U.

Another Zero alt?

lol

Nomura was co-directing with Tabata anyway. Nomura isn't really stepping down. The game is almost completed at this point. Nomura moved on to KH3, knowing he was leaving the final stage of FFXV's production in good hands. It's not like Tabata and Nomura didn't have a common vision for the game, after working together on it for as long as they did.

Looks awesome!

Hmm, that is true! Those are pretty giant games that are gonna hopefully distroy all expectations! I can't wait for both! Seriously!

I honestly have far more faith in KH3 to deliver something great than this, so I for one think it's great that Nomura is just focusing all his attention on that now.
