Though if you look at both Microsoft and  Sony  , and how they both showed how they wanted to tackle including TV in to the Entertainment option for the game consoles they release. Microsoft went with shifting more of its resources toward taking TV and putting it in the xboxone as a main feature. Now nothing wrong with that, but Sony on the other hand decided to offer another option in taking the Playstation TV to do more of that TV enhancement functionality IE: a more dedicated streaming box for such a function. But did not make in front and center in marketting with the PS4. but is making it with this Micro Game console.

Sony with such services as Crackle, Crunchy Roll,Netflicks,HULU etc and Now adding Viacom to the mix, its no wonder Sony renamed the Playstation Vita TV to just Playstation TV.

TV is diff and new?????..it is old outdated tech cable TV especially. Streaming is new, something MS totaly missed somehow....... MS relied on OLD outdated tech in cable TV.....no one cares about watchign TV through your console people already HAVE TV and cable........and wont buy a console to just use it as a pass thru, it was dumb and it faield for a reason. Streaming is the future, not cable integration, MS were off ther erocker thinking it was even something people needed or care about.

Where did sony talk a lot about tv at the reveal??? They barely mentioned it.

"Game console" "primary focus"

If you don't get it by now then i don't know when or how you ever will. MS had no business spending over 70% of their reveal conference of their new game console talking about TV and voice controls in the name of being different. Their primary audience DO NOT PRIMARILY buy anything for those things that they chose to FOCUS on at their reveal. Something they have been paying dearly for till this day.

But yeah, lets all pretend that this is the same thing with what MS was doing then and this is just sony fans being hypocrites. Feel better?

If any thing the TV focus it was more about (Playstsation Tv), and that was mainly because of its connection to the PS4 via remote play, they talked playstation TV because it was launching this year , and it is infact it as a launch system for this year along side this deal with viacom is it any wonder they talked about it?, granted they talked about a super hero Tv Program but ..iT's a Freaking Super Hero TV show! at a gamer convention!, and this show will be shown on playstation 1st, i mean Marvel Comics are blasting the freaking box office right now, and you do not think companies want to cash in on that type of programming?

when Gamer's and kids are a big draw on ticket sales?
