Thanks for that, I don't know Starcraft well enough to know we are looking for a ghost. Are we sure the perpetrator has to be a ghost?

Using my limited experiance with WoW's games No. Last game RCT had an item that by all rights his character shouldn't have had. Looking too closly at the game would be a mistake because WoW is likely to do anything to be frank.

(just to confirm to those who haven't played, the Ghost is the only unit in SC2 that can launch nuclear missiles - but as Nickles said, may not be the case in this round)

Vote: Nicklesbe

Too defensive for my taste (I'm also following WoW's advice!)

You have enough experience with mafia to not need WoW's advice to understand the power of applying pressure to drive action. Is this an attempt to downplay that you are among the most experienced players?

I am not going to take WoW's advice and vote, I'll just leave that thought here instead.

I highly doubt I could pull that off. It's pretty common knowledge that I've played a load of Mafia games but let's say that was my intention what would I gain from it exactly?

I can imagine several reasons for hidding ones experience, for example use it to explain how one gets in on a mislynch when one should have known better. That said, you're probably right that it would be an impossible exercise for you. After all, if I of all people know of your mafia experience, everybody else should now as well. At the very least prof wouldn't buy it, unless ofcourse he is your scumbuddy!!!

Anyway, since you played the last game as well i'll ask you what i asked nick: how do you feel about Carl sticking his head out this early in the game and how does that compare to his previous game?

good point about the beast stone inconsistency.

In other news, what do you find most peculiar so far

Radish town claim and subsequent backing off it

Carl's mass 'claims' and wild quotes right of the bat

Eric Fabian's seemingly meaningless vote for white eagle

or something else?

So it has begun, huh?

Just a fun fact I learned yesterday: If you see a nuclear explosion, and the fireball is bigger than the thumb of your extended arm -- you're close enough to the radiation (or aftermath) area and you should probably run.

Hence why this small dude isn't giving us the thumb up, but rather measuring the distance he is from the explosion.

Mindblowing, huh?

If it isn't much to ask, Radish, could you give me a head-up (or a quick resume) about Starcraft's units?

Hard to say for sure. I think the two quotes are about the same. I find it suspicious that Radish saught out a quote that would be considered town. I think the mass claims were strange and possibly meant to cuase confusion, I don't like intentional confusion, and it might have been a slip. Then again they could have been just innocent fun and could mean anything but I find them strange non-the less.

As far as Eric Fabian goes secrets are dangerous. In my experiance Mafia love secrets, some try to keep them like Hylian did last game while others will seek them out and exploit them. Like I did last game with sparks. It's pretty much why sparks was lynched, I was passive about it but I pointed out the secrets to theprof, gently nudging him in that direction. Granted it was genuinly suspicious behavior which made it that much easier. So I think it is peculiar behavior but not as peculiar as the two quotes. I'm thinking he wants to vote for white..well to be frank because of last game. Perhaps he is afraid of how that would be percieved? I don't know and won't until he explains his reasoning if ever. So he could be voting for him because he thinks he would be detrimental to town and or the probability of him being town again are likely low, or he's voting for him because he knows he is an easy target.

What about you? What are your thoughts on those points?

The thing that most immideatly stood out to me was Carl's behavior. It's just hard to see how that kind of posting could be ment to help town. of course, it would be superstupid to go out and start dropping scum quotes if he really is scum, this is why i am trying to get a read from you or trucks on how this behavior compares to last game. I think he played, but I don't remember him sticking his neck out like this at all that game. I am looking forward to see what he does tomorrow.

I have no clue what EricFabian is trying to do. Only thing that sort of makes sense would be tgat he wants to make sure whiteeagle's bullshit from the last game doesn't happen again. But is EF experienced enough to connect the harmful behavior from last game to this game? I don't know. It's a peculiar vote. I suspect it might just be a joke, but why white eagle then? I didn't like his explanation of the joke (prof/proof) and in any case don't see how he made the jump to vote for whiteeagle based on that post.

Radish claim and counterclaim is weird to, but he has played mafia before and doubt he would slip that badly. I'm inclined to think it was a flavor post that perhaps came across as more of a hard claim than intended.

As for you, I seem to recall you saying after the FE game that you would play different next game no matter what team you ended up on. I'm getting town vibes from you, but you are slippery in this game (mafia in general)...

How much are we allowed to talk right now? Day1 hasn't started, but I already see a possible slip.
