You can target someone each night, you will learn their alignment
You win when all the varmints are hung

I would paraphrase this with:
I'm Omar the cop. I have 3 shots.
I target a player and get their alignment.
I win when all bad guys are dead.

I had time during night, indeed, but my idea was clear from the start: using Detector on EricFabian. Whatever prof told me, my brain probably chose to ignore it as we went straight into Night. As I told him, I didn't say "okay" to his plan (especially because I didn't think we had any yet), so as he said "I literally acknowledge" the plan, I didn't.

to paraphrase is to say what something says without using the exact same words.

Example: PM Says "The detecor scan on EricFabian has returned negative, the results were that he is not using a cloaking device"

you say: The PM says the night action was successful and EricFabian is not the nuker

or something along those lines.

One says that paraphrasing is changing the person from first to third.

The second is saying that I should change the meaning of the PM a bit just to not make it sound exactly like it happened.

@imp, I didn't mean "change the meaning" of the PM (as in, to lie). I rather tried to say "change the way it was writen".

Here, I'll paraphrase your above post.

Of the options, the first says that paraphrasing is just changing the perspective of the speaker.
and the second one says that I should use different wording so it's close but not exact.

I'm sorry, I get it and if you have real life time issues, deal with that. I feel bad badgering you when you have things that are important. Just maker sure that no matter what you do DO NOT copy what your PM's say. That is the most important thing. When you get the time, the idea is to let us know that you scanned, who you scanned and that the scan was not blocked without giving the exact wording of your PM. You have to be very careful with not gettign too close to repeating what WoW told you. But it's important that we know that the scan worked, and what the results were.

No worries, I am just very worried about you gettign too close to the wording in the PM considering what happened last game and how important it is right now that you don't get modkilled (unless you are the nuke of course ;) )

Just.....think of a different way of saying that PM.

E.g
Pm Your some Shield Marine and have no action. You have this ability called this and it does this and so on.

you: I'm a Shield Marine and I'm a vanilla townie. An ability called shield I possess and it gives me extra defence.
