I didn't mean that; rather, what do you know about nuclear weaponry in general.
It makes no sense to say that we should avoid lynches on day one unless we know for sure we have a mafia cornered. There is only one way to know for sure if we have found mafia, and that is to lynch throwing away potential information in the hope that you'll happen to pick the right night target puts town at a disadvantage.
I could see the reasoning behind a general day one no lynch vote if you don't want to pay attention to the game and we could just play forever and take our time with the lynches. But, in reality a lynch of any kind gives us a lot of information before heading into the night. It gives everyone in town their second fixed point of reference (another confirmed player) and gives reason to go back an reread the lynched player and how the case against them was built. Invaluable information and potentially something that could improve the accuracy of Night One.
And that is just in a normal setup, now we have just 5 Days to weed through 17 players, it makes getting solid information even more urgent.

Why the interest? Could the answer possibly lead to a slip?

Care to answer now? Is this your first game? Have you ever played or observed a mafia game before?

Indeed, hence why I asked.
I do think there should be a lynch today.
I'm currently waiting on more clues until I decide who is who.

What do you think of the events and the people so far? What behavior have you thought was suspicious, what behavior did you think was helpful? What do you think of the flavor and the situation we find our selves in? Using your experiance from last game do you have any advice for new players in here?

AstroGamer said: Typically I am a pretty passive player usually having just one or two big posts per day and a couple smaller ones. I don't recall ever being scum so, I don't think past behavior will get me any points. I can't really vote yet though since I can't really see any clear signs of scummyness. The closest would be Nickles and I guess Truck for the healer/protector ploy. Impertinence feels like shaky ground as well as EricFabian |
those big posts better be good
there is rarely anything close to clear sign of scum especially on day one, but voting being active and putting preassure on people can help finding much better than being passive.
